West Side Opens Up Operation in Terre Haute, Indiana
The doors have officially opened for business at West Side Tractor Sales’ newest location in Terre Haute, Indiana. West Side Tractor – a John Deere construction and forestry equipment distributor - is the first John Deere construction dealership to have a physical presence in this market. The brand new facility is located at 3773 East Margaret Drive (intersection of Margaret Drive and Fruitridge Avenue).
“We are thrilled to join the Terre Haute business community and look forward to putting down roots,” said Steve Benck, President and 2nd generation ownership of West Side Tractor. “Since we entered the Indiana market, we have continued to invest in our people, products and facilities to be able to provide the top-notch experience that our customers deserve.”
West Side Tractor – headquartered in Naperville, Illinois – expanded into the Indiana market almost 10 years ago with the acquisition of Holt Equipment. As a third generation family operation, West Side Tractor has been in the tractor business for 57 years. The new Terre Haute facility is their 11th full-service store throughout Illinois and Indiana.
Built from the ground up, the new Terre Haute facility provides new, used and rental construction equipment, as well as parts and service support. The 15,000 sq. ft. facility features eight shop service bays equipped with state-of-the-art service tools and equipment, a 3,000 sq. ft. parts department and warehouse, training facilities, and spacious and comfortable areas for West Side Tractor employees and customers. In addition to the branch, West Side Tractor has field service operations already up and running in the area.
