This September, we are GOING GOLD for Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month at West Side Tractor and RCE Equipment Solutions. 

• Each day, over 47 children are diagnosed with cancer in the United States.
• Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 19 in the US.
• Only 4% of the billions of dollars the government spends annually on cancer research is directed towards treating childhood cancer.
• Most current standard treatments for pediatric cancer were approved 32 years ago, many before the 1980s.

During this month, thousands of cars will drive by our Lisle facility and read these important messages. We show our support for the children and families effected (including several of our West Side Tractor families), and for organizations like Cal’s Angels that make a difference on that journey.

West Side Tractor Donations

We are fundraising for Cal’s Angels. Their mission is to grant wishes, raise awareness, and fund research to help kids fighting cancer. Below is a link to a video to learn more about what Cal’s Angels has been up to the last year, which includes the monumental signing of Cal’s Law. They also just announced a new collaboration between Cal’s Angels and The Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium to fund Adolescent/Young Adult therapeutic cancer clinical trials.
